Our wedding is the same weekend as the Citidel's homecoming so we want to make sure you have information on hotels now as rooms are booking up fast in the area.  We blocked off rooms at the following places (under Chelsea Singer/John Woody wedding), all three of which are within walking distance from the wedding/reception and the shopping, eating, drinking and attractions of downtown Charleston:

 

Best Western King Charles Inn - Rooms are ~200/night.

 

Courtyard Marriot Historic District Hotel - Rooms are ~230/night

 

Renaissance Charleston Historic District Hotel  - Rooms are ~280/night

 

Feel free to explore other options if you'd like as well (other places in Charleston, somewhere right on the beach like Kiawah Island, about a 25 minute drive away, etc).

 

To get to Charleston, a lot of you may be flying, while others will be driving.  Most people fly into the airport in Charleston (CHS).  Right now, non-stop flights from New York (LGA) to Charleston (CHS) on Delta, leaving Thursday and returning Sunday, are about $220 roundtrip.
